Cumbria is lucky enough to have some of the darkest skies in the UK, but light pollution is a very real problem – effecting our well-being and nocturnal wildlife like bats, owls, moths and hedgehogs. Friends of the Lake District is working hard to protect Cumbria’s darkness and gain Dark Skies accreditation for Cumbria and the Lake District. This leaflet design features some helpful tips for people who would like to reduce their light pollution. Small changes make a big difference.
